Maan News agency reports today that the Israeli Supreme Court this week rejected a request by five female students from Gaza to study in the West Bank.
Issam Younis, head of Gaza's Al Mezan Center calls the decision a continuation of Israel's collective punishment of the citizens in Gaza.
Israel imposed a general ban on Palestinians from Gaza studying in the West Bank in 2000, after the outbreak of the second intifada.
